The goal of this support group is to create a safe space for all behavioral health professionals of color, especially in the greater Kalamazoo-Portage area, to discuss and process issues around race and racism in the professional and personal lives of the participants. It creates an environment where valuable strategies and coping mechanisms can be shared amongst peers.

Diversity is about all of us, and about having to figure out how to walk through this world together.” – Jacqueline Woodson, author
