Judson Center’s Autism Connections Summer Programs are designed to meet the needs of individuals ages 4-21 diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Summer Fun provides a fun, recreational setting blended with therapeutic and academic supports. Our program staff provide communication, sensory, and behavior supports needed to build skills and provide for a successful summer experience! Individual IEP goals may also be addressed in the program. Grouping and programming is based on age and includes 6-8 participants per group with 1:3 staff to child ratio. 1:1 Individualized Intensive Programming is also available for this program

1:1 Individualized (Available in Summer Fun)

Intensive Programming

(Available in Summer Fun and Teen Passages)

This enhanced programming provides participants 1:1 staffing throughout their entire placement in the program. This staffing follows an individualized goal curriculum and behavior plan developed in coordination with a certified ASD teacher and a BCBA. Participants in this program have all the benefits of a fun and recreational summer experience with their peers, while receiving highly tailored individual supports to promote growth and success on academic, social, and behavioral goals. This program also includes intensive coordination with the school before, during, and after the summer program. Highlights include:

  •   Pre-program coordination with school staff
  •   1:1 specifically trained staff
  •   An individualized learning environment
  •   Academic programming by a certified ASD teacher
  •   Individualized behavior supports supervised by a BCBA
  •   Continuous data collection on academic and behavioral goals
  •   Continued collaboration with school during and post-program
