White Lake Township proudly welcomes its residents between the ages of 14 and 35 with mild to moderate cognitive impairments to participate in a social gathering one Saturday monthly at the Dublin Community Senior Center. This program was established to provide a safe and positive social experience for a specific population of individuals that would otherwise be limited in
opportunities. It is volunteer organized and managed under the watchful eye of White Lake Township. There is a pre-registration process in place to ensure club members are safe, along with a volunteering expectation by the club member’s parent/guardian. Activities will change monthly, however will likely include programs such as game night, movie night and dance night. There will also be an enrichment focus that includes dance lessons, yoga sessions, art class, personal safety training, etc.
Depending on the night agenda, there may be a minimal cost to the club member to cover the expense to participate.
