Trained therapy dogs don’t judge or interrupt. That’s why they visit the library and sit with kids as they practice their reading skills. No registration necessary, but go to the Youth desk before you begin Children and pets have a special bond because animals do not judge or interrupt a reader. The first 10 children to check in at the Youth desk can read to certified therapy dogs and develop their reading skills inside the library’s storytime room.
