Summary

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs duties related to the University Autism Grant Practicum Coordination within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Duties include-

Completes a wide range of marketing and public relations tasks including scheduling, maintaining multiple calendars, reporting and problem solving related to administration of a grant between multiple agencies and organizations. Will perform duties at multiple locations. May utilize various special word processing features to create documents. Compose memos to internal and external contacts. Complete wide range of grant reporting. Retrieve information from database and run reports. Screen calls and respond to questions. Managing timesheets and performance data. Follow established policies and procedures to meet minimum life safety standards of JCAHO/OSHA. Actively participate in training. 

Required Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Organizational skills to prioritize work flow and maintain departmental files.  Experience with excel spreadsheets preferred.  Some basic mathematical calculations may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one - two years experience with above related tasks preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Language Skills

Very good interpersonal and verbal communication skills to screen calls and respond to routine questions from external and internal contacts.   

 Reasoning Ability                                                             

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills                                                                 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge and proficiency for Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
