Skills and Experiences

Responsibilities The primary responsibility of a Behavior Tutor is to implement treatment plans (as created by the BCBA) for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders. The Behavior Tutor also: Works 1:1 with clients to teach new skills or to improve social functioning Meet clients daily needs may include toileting, feeding and teaching daily living skills. Manages behavior issues among clients Collects and summarizes data as per treatment plan protocol Makes recommendations for treatment planning based on data Parent interaction Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other related field preferred. Starting rate is $10.00/hour, increasing to $16.50/hour post training.
