The School of Education and Human Services’ Center for Autism at Oakland University is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) to assist the daily operations of center-based preschool autism ABA Clinic located on Oakland University’s campus. The BCBA will conduct initial curriculum based assessments, develop individual student curricula and behavior intervention plans, oversee implementation and the direction of those curricula and plans, and conduct staff training.

Required Qualifications
Behavior Analyst who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
Solid knowledge of the fundamental analysis methodology, verbal behavior, and ethical standards in behavior analysis
Ability to work independently, with great attention to details, and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others
Ability to effectively write programs and behavior intervention plans and implement ABA intervention with children
Ability to supervise and train behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA interventions
Ability to work well with others in an environment that a supports a team approach to intervention

Assess children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using the VB-MAPP, Vineland, or other skill-based assessment for the purpose of developing appropriate goals and objectives.
Develop individual curricula for preschool students with ASD.
Modify and revise programs to maximum learning as needed for 10 children diagnosed with ASD.
Train incoming behavior technicians on the implementation of ABA interventions.
Interact and train parents on the principles and implementation of ABA interventions.
Interact with key university faculty, staff, and administration to ensure the daily operations of the ABA Clinic.

Maintain a schedule of progress reports to meet insurance companies requirements for continued funding.
Participate in weekly graduate and undergraduate student clinical meetings.
